The HE Blitzfire OSC 2.5"NH Combo Package is an oscillating portable lightweight high-elevation attack monitor package comprising of an oscillating monitor, a Max Series nozzle tip, and a mounting bracket.
The water-powered turbine allows the nozzle to automatically sweep 10, 15, or 20 degrees left and right of center. The oscillating mechanism has a disconnect feature to allow for manual horizontal rotation.
The monitor includes an integral safety shut-off valve that automatically shuts down the water flow in the event control of the monitor is lost. The water flow is controlled by a six-position detent, turbulence-free slide valve. The detent flow control also functions as the reset for the safety shut-off valve to resume water flow.
The 2-1/2” (64 mm) water inlet pivots up and down to allow for stability on uneven surfaces. The discharge has vertical elevation travel between 10 and 86 degrees above horizontal with a ball and socket joint. The same ball and socket joint shall allow for horizontal adjustment of 20 degrees left and right of center.
The monitor has folding stabilization legs with carbide tips, which are concealed in the carry and stow positions. An integral carrying handle that also functions as an attachment point for the included anchor strap is provided. For corrosion resistance, the monitor is constructed from hard-coat anodized aluminum alloy and has a blue powder coat interior and exterior finish.
The monitor is configured with a 2-1/2” (64 mm) female NH swivel rocker lug coupling and a 2-1/2” (64 mm) male NH rigid outlet with a flow rating of 500 GPM (2000 l/min).
Included in the package is a Max-Force nozzle tip, model number MD12A, which is a dual-pressure automatic nozzle which has a knob located at the front of the nozzle to allow for pressure rating adjustments of 100 or 55 PSI (7 or 4 bar) and a flow range of 100-500 GPM (400-2000 l/min).
The nozzle design allows for a straight stream through dense wide fog patterns and is able to be flushed without shutting down. The ribbed rubber bumper allows for stream shape adjustment. For corrosion resistance and durability, the nozzle is constructed from hard-coat anodized aluminum alloy, a protective rubber bumper with fog teeth, and reflective labeling. The nozzle has a 2-1/2” (64 mm) female NH swivel rocker lug coupling inlet.
A Task Force Tips model XX-B storage bracket and mounting screws is also supplied. The bracket is constructed from stainless steel and hard-coat aluminum and is designed for horizontal or vertical installation. The bracket includes an adjustable strap assembly for the elimination of nozzle movement. The bracket is designed for storage of the Blitzfire and Blitzfire OSC series portable monitors.
The unit has a unique serial number and is covered by a five-year warranty from Task Force Tips.
