The Double Jacket Fire Hose 50 ft. Fire Hose 1.0 in. X 1.0 in. NH Yellow (800 lb test) is flexible, strong, and abrasion resistant. Manufactured to exact municipal requirements and designed to be the ultimate in industrial and municipal fire protection.

Attack Hose
A fire hose is a high-pressure hose that carries water or other fire retardant (such as foam) to a fire to extinguish it. Outdoors, it attaches either to a fire engine or a fire hydrant. Indoors, it can permanently attach to a building’s standpipe or plumbing system.

An attack hose is a fabric-covered, flexible hose that brings water from the fire pumper to the nozzle. This hose ranges in nominal inside diameter from 1.5“ to 3” and is designed to operate at pressures up to about 400 psi. The standard lengths are 50, 75’, and 100’, with custom lengths built to meet specific requirements.

Jacket Construction:
The jackets are woven evenly and free of defects, from spun polyester yarn that offers superior strength and wear characteristics. The warp yarn is standard 100% polyester. The filler yarns are high strength, low elongation, and filament polyester to reduce weight and increase flexibility. In addition, the jacket is treated to resist mold and mildew.

Lining:
The rubber lining is a single-ply, extruded, synthetic EPDM tube, compounded to resist ozone. Under this specification, the construction of this hose is to be manufactured fully backed.

Couplings:
As required per specification(s). Available with internal expansion ring threaded aluminum or brass. (NH/NST and NPSH/IPT standard. Custom thread patterns available upon request)

Special Characteristics:
Standard hose lengths are 50’ and 100’. Custom lengths are available upon request, as are other colors. The hose meets the standards and specifications of Underwriters Laboratories, Inc. (UL), including UL-19 (tensile strength & elongation) for rubber-lined hoses. All hoses are stenciled with 1” characters stating “Service Test to 400 PSI Per NFPA 1962,“ and the service date in a contrasting indelible ink color. Service Life:
